OZZY OSBOURNE Interviewed On WGRD 97.9 FM (Audio)

December 16, 2010

Spud of the Grand Rapids, Michigan radio station WGRD 97.9 FM recently conducted an interview with the legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne. You can now listen to the chat at this location.

Ozzy had to postpone the final two dates of his current U.S. tour, scheduled for December 10 in St. Louis and December 12 in Minneapolis. The singer was advised by doctors to call off the gigs after contracting an ear infection, with complications that prevent him from performing. The Minneapolis date has been moved to January 12 and St. Louis has been changed to January 14. All tickets from the postponed shows will be honored on the new dates.

The Minneapolis show will now kick off the second leg of Ozzy's U.S. trek, which will feature Slash as the opening act.

Even though he has his own health column these days, Ozzy admitted that he doesn't know how he's managed to stay alive after abusing himself for years. "I'm not a fucking doctor," he said. "I keep saying that. You know, I'm just a very lucky guy that I ain't six foot under shoving daisies up, you know. I'm like the laboratory rat that survives, you know."

Ozzy is touring in support of his latest solo effort, "Scream", which came out earlier this year.
